This application is built on the concept of tools. Loosely speaking, a tool for hsCADCompare is an implementation of ability to perform a certain class of operation or procedure with regards to viewing and editing a drawing.

 

Tools in hsCADCompare can be differentiated into three categories:

 

1. Property View Tools (allows a user to access various functionality related to Property View)
 

2. Drawing View Tools (allows a user to access various functionality related to Drawing View)
 

3. Document Tools (allows a user to access various functionality related to original document files being compared)
